Southwold Beach took the top spot in GO Outdoors’ latest ranking of ‘hidden gem’ spring beaches across the UK, scoring 8.68 out of 10 based on average spring temperatures, rainfall, sunshine hours and reviews of beaches with fewer than 500 reviews.

This is despite the beach being one of the most popular and highest ranked beaches in the region.
