The Safety Camera Team from Norfolk and Suffolk Speed Cameras went to Mildenhall Road in Freckenham, on Wednesday, February 25.

They were there between 7.30am and 8.30am after concerns were raised that speeding drivers could be a safety issue for people.

The road often sees children waiting for the school bus in the village.

During their time on the road, the team caught 20 drivers speeding in the 30mph area, with the fastest recorded at 44mph.

Last year in nearby West Row, a driver was caught going 104mph on a stretch of road with a 30mph limit.

The driver was recorded by a speed monitoring equipment on Pott Hall Road, which records speeds, but can not issue fines.
