Older people urged to take steps now to prepare for future
Age UK Norfolk is urging people to plan for later life by making a will, setting up a Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA), considering future care needs, and ensuring they receive all the benefits they are entitled to.
Emma Harkness, head of information and advice at Age UK Norfolk, said: "Planning for later life is at the heart of our advice work.
"All our services are free to access, including our support to complete Lasting Power of Attorney forms.
"As an organisation, we believe everyone who wants an LPA should be able to have one, and that cost should not be a barrier."
The charity can direct people to trusted solicitors and provide information about Free Wills Month.
It also offers free, confidential advice and benefit checks.
Older people, families, and carers can contact Age UK Norfolk on 0300 500 1217 or email advice@ageuknorfolk.org.uk.
Details of community outreach sessions across the county are available on their website.
