Drew Syrett, 33, faces five charges of being concerned in the supply of large quantities of both cocaine and cannabis over an eight year period.

It follows a violent break-in involving a gang of armed assailants at Old Hall Farm in Burgh Common, on the outskirts of Attleborough.

Norwich Magistrates’ Court was told Syrett had been in the property when the men had smashed windows and doors attempting to gain entry after dark on November 25.
