Benefits cheat claimed she was on low income while making £1k a week from second home
Benida Reyes, 53, continued to claim a low income discount to her bills despite having bought a second home that she was renting out.
Breckland Council believed she was living on less than £200 a week when she was in fact earning more than £4,000 a month.
Norwich Magistrates’ Court was told she had initially claimed Council Tax Support, a means tested scheme to reduce bills for people on a low income, in 2013.
