Permanent home for Russian artwork among public notices to be aware of

Plans have been lodged with Norwich City Council to seek permission to permanently keep Tatlin's Tower at the Sainsbury Centre near Colney.

The striking piece of Russian artwork has been at the art museum since 2017 with the hope that it can be a permanent fixture at the centre.

The original tower was designed to dwarf the Eiffel Tower as a 400m-high monument to the 1917 Bolshevik Revolution in Russia.

The proposals will be considered by the council in due course.

Joan Evelyn Huckle died in Fairstead Road, Norwich, on February 10.
