Aldeburgh Food and Drink Festival chairman steps down after 20 years
Hotelier Tim Rowan-Robinson founded Aldeburgh Food and Drink Festival at Snape Maltings along with entrepreneur and organic farmer William Kendall and local food campaigner Lady Caroline Cranbrook who became festival president.
Now Tim, 76 - the festival's chairman - has passed the baton to Bungay dairy farmer and cheese maker Jonny Crickmore who has exhibited at the festival since launching his Baron Bigod diversification in 2013.

Bella Scarr is the organiser of the event and manages it on behalf of the committee, which includes a number of high-profile food champions, including Clare Fairs of Hillfarm Oils of Heveningham and George Pell of The Suffolk Restaurant and Rooms in Aldeburgh.
Harry Young, chief operating officer at Britten Pears Arts, also sits on the committee.

Alesha Gooderham - who was also a festival founder - and husband Johnny sold Snape Maltings to Britten Pears Arts in 2015 and left to start a new life in Australia.

But they did return briefly this year to attend the festival during Tim's final year at the helm.........
