Woolly visitors set up home at primary school in farm education initiative

That is the question being posed by children at a Norfolk primary school that has welcomed woolly visitors to help pupils learn about farm animals.

Ditchingham Primary School is one of 20 schools across the county to take part in Learn About Livestock Week.

It is seeing the south Norfolk school homing an ewe and her twin lambs from March 24 to 28 in a special outdoor shelter.

The initiative is in its fifth year and gives children from early years to sixth form the chance to learn about food and farming.

It includes looking after ewes and lambs at the schools for a whole week with all equipment, food and professional support supplied.
