The Halesworth Campus charity first revealed plans to transform the former Halesworth Middle School site into a sports hub for the community in 2012.

After holding a number of public consultations and discussions, the charity submitted a planning application in 2021 for the first phase of two pitches.

But with permission granted in 2023 and no pitches on the site, people living nearby have been asking if there has been any progress at all.

Now, the charity's board of trustees has explained why it has been taking so long and has announced the project's next steps.
