The Beccles Soapbox Derby debuted last year in Station Road and saw hundreds of people crowded along the side of the road cheering on as makeshift cars sped by.

And following its successful launch, the wacky race is returning on September 28 with a longer course and new obstacles.

Now, Beccles Town Council has also revealed that the event will be live-streamed to a large screen in the town centre.
