The Plough in Wangford, on the A12, is set to welcome pub-goers back under Martin Hircock and Paula Knights, the former team behind the Harbour Inn and The Pantry in Lowestoft.

And with a "soft launch" event prepared for this weekend for the community, the pair have shared their excitement for this new chapter in their publican lives.

Ms Knights, from Lowestoft, said: "It is really nice to get into the atmosphere again."

Mr Hircock, from Hopton, said: "We are hopeful and the response has been quite positive so far.

"I am looking forward to next year and what the summer season will bring - we have lots of ideas in the pipeline."
