Marine business to donate lifesaving equipment after tragic Broads death
ASAP Supplies has offered to provide life rings and horseshoe lifebuoys at Beccles Quay, where 14-year-old Nischay Patel died last week.
Mark Gascoine, marine sales advisor of ASAP Supplies - which is based in the town - said: “By being able to provide lifesaving equipment we hope this will help to avoid any incidents in future.
"It is a shame that it has taken a tragic event for something to be put in place at the local quay and we will assist where we can moving forward."
