Michael Ashford had submitted plans to South Norfolk Council in 2023 build two homes off Rectory Road in Aldeby, near Beccles.

The proposal showed the properties to have four bedrooms, with three ensuite bathrooms, and a guest suite.

But the council rejected the application last September.

The decision said that it was not "a sustainable location for new development" and said it was remote from schooling, convenience shopping, health provision and employment opportunities.
