Ryan Kerslake had submitted a proposal to East Suffolk Council to change an annexe into a hair salon in Harrison's Lane, Halesworth in November.

Documents said that the salon would be used by Natasha Kerslake, who is the owner of an existing hairdressers in Halesworth town centre.

A planning statement said: "With rising bills, high rent and the stress of running a large salon we would like to downsize the business and move it to The Annexe".

The council has now approved the plans.
