Nischay Patel, 14, died after getting into difficulties in the River Waveney at Beccles Quay.

His death shocked the town and has seen people rally around his family, who run Tabers Newsagents in Beccles' Market Street.

The tragedy happened last Wednesday and despite efforts by the emergency services, onlookers and members of the public, Nischay was pronounced dead at the scene.

The family has now announced that his funeral will be held on Saturday at the Waveney Memorial Park and Crematorium in Ellough from 10am, with everyone welcome to attend.
