Council performs u-turn on controversial parking charge scheme
East Suffolk Council was set to withdraw the Resident Exemption parking scheme earlier this year.
It had seen town centre parking used to create additional space for locals for £50 a year.

Now, the council has announced that the scheme will be staying after it was discussed at a cabinet meeting this month.
