Campaigners' pledge to stay at bus shelter after major protest victory
Spirits are high this morning in Sheringham after the town council voted to not support the bulldozing of the beloved 1950s bus stop.
With tears, singing, and cheers, demonstrators feel they have been heard by the town council after nine days of protests that led to stand-offs with bailiffs.
However, they have said this is just the beginning of the hard work and are looking to Norfolk County Council (NCC) for reassurance.
