Paul Courtney, 40, forced his way into the home in Middle Market Road in Great Yarmouth before dousing the interior and some of the people inside with petrol.

Norwich Crown Court heard Courtney then bought cigarettes and a jerrycan from a nearby garage before filling it up with about £8 of petrol, which he left........
