Ashley Francis, 27, was suffering from poor mental health at the time he thrust a knife into the neck of his grandfather Mervyn Moulton.

Mr Moulton's wife Jackie called 999 and her husband was taken to hospital but died a few days later having suffered a "catastrophic" bleed.

A trial at Norwich Crown Court heard Francis had been "100pc convinced" his "grandfather was the devil" at the time of the stabbing.
