The Joe Dix Foundation was set up following the death of 18-year-old Joe Dix who was stabbed to death outside his flat in Mile Cross in January 2022.

The teen's parents Emma and Phil have since set up the charity to tackle knife crime and the exploitation of young people after their son's murder.
