Three quit at crisis-hit council after damning report finds 'culture of misogyny'
Barry Hester, a former town mayor, David Covell and Penney Spall have stood down from their positions at North Walsham Town Council (NWTC) this week.
The resignations follow months of acrimony between councillors and staff, with more than £30,000 spent on HR firms, legal fees and other costs related to the disputes.

This culminated in a cultural review, published last week, which revealed tensions had reached a tipping point.
It prompted town mayor Bob Wright to apologise to staff.
Office staff complained about facing "rude, demeaning and misogynistic" behaviour and disrespect from some councillors.
