Swimmers campaign to make city landmark an official bathing spot
Cow Tower Dippers, a group which meets regularly to swim in the River Wensum where it passes the medieval Cow Tower in Norwich, want to see more powers introduced to improve water quality.
Backing the cause is Gary Champion, a Green Party councillor, who has proposed a motion to Norwich City Council for it to support granting the section bathing water status.

The measure will mean more pollution checks would be carried out at the location in a bid........
