Norfolk MP probe finds 'evidence of harassment' and 'toxic conduct'

A probe was launched into Rupert Lowe by an independent King's Counsel after two women working at his offices made complaints against him and two of his employees.

The Great Yarmouth MP lost the Reform whip earlier this month after the party said it had received evidence of “serious bullying” and “derogatory” remarks.

Jacqueline Perry KC, who was employed by Reform to investigate the claims, concluded Mr Lowe has "failed or been unwilling to address" the "toxic conduct" of male members of his staff.

She added that the complaints of “victimisation, constant criticisms (and) discriminatory behaviour do seem to amount to harassment on the part of both Mr Lowe and his constituency team”.

It is the latest twist in an ongoing war between Reform's leadership and Lowe that exploded publicly earlier this month after he criticised Nigel Farage in a Daily Mail interview, accusing him of being a "messiah".

Within hours, he had the whip removed and Reform published an extraordinary statement detailing the allegations.

He is also subject to a separate police investigation into........
