Future of town's Christmas lights display thrown into doubt
The annual festivities in Sheringham are already in doubt after organisers warned the annual festive lights display may no longer be able to continue.
A report to Sheringham Town Council has revealed the 15-year display is under threat because of a shortage of volunteers and a struggle to meet the costs.
Stuart McClean, the chairman of Sheringham's carnival committee - which organises the lights and other events - said the group "no longer have the resources" to continue illuminating the town each year.
