West Norfolk Council (WNC) has struggled for the past 18 months to sell any of the 32 apartments at Styleman Court it funded in Hunstanton.

It has blamed its failure to sell any on it own restrictions aimed at ensuring buyers were local people and not those looking to use the properties as second homes or holiday lets.

These conditions requiring the flats to be used as a main home have now been removed in a bid to speed up their sale.........
