Great Yarmouth Borough Council intends to remove 18 chalets between Wellington pier and the Winter Gardens - a Grade II listed Victorian glasshouse.

The structure is set for a £10m renovation project which will bring it back into use for future generations to enjoy after several years of closure.

However, the row of disused beach huts will need to be removed to improve access and for the land to be used as a site compound.
