The Sustainable Workplace of the Year award, sponsored by Indigo Swan, recognises businesses that are taking meaningful action to reduce their environmental impact, engage employees and embed sustainable practices into everyday operations.

James Groves, managing director of Indigo Swan, said he is looking for organisations that can demonstrate both commitment and action.

“We are hoping to see evidence of the sustainable initiatives in the businesses entering and how they implement them,” he said.

“It would be good to see how they get their employees engaged and what practices they have in their workplace for this, and if they have any accreditations in place.”
