Appearing at Great Magistrates' Court this morning and accompanied by a security officer in the dock, Stebbings only spoke to confirm her name, date of birth and address.
Stebbings was remanded into custody and will next appear in court tomorrow at Ipswich Crown Court.
Members of her family and members of the victim's family were present at the back of the court.

Stebbings, whose address was given as Spashett Road in Lowestoft, was arrested at the scene of the murder and taken to Great Yarmouth Police Investigation Centre for questioning.
A Home Office post-mortem examination was carried out on Saturday, March 21, but the cause of Mr Grant's death is pending further investigation.
Officers have said that the incident is being treated as an "isolated" one and that the pair are understood to have known each other.

The park was closed for much of the weekend as investigations continued.
The incident has shocked people living near the park and in the community.
Malcolm Raven, 68, a retired chicken factory worker who lives near the park, said: "I think it's a bit close to home - you don't want that."

"She heard someone shouting" he said.
"She was in bed at 9pm. I think she was on her way to going to sleep. She said she heard someone shout out."
After the park reopened on Sunday, a bouquet of flowers was left on one of the walls in the park, which was previously cordoned off.
