Adriana Retyte died in hospital two days after the emergency services were called to the family home in Ashwellthorpe.

An inquest into her death, which opened at Norfolk Coroner's Court yesterday, was told the medical cause of her death was hanging.

In a post online, her mother, Greta Saggers, 31, said: "It is with broken hearts that we share the loss of our beautiful Adriana."

The 14-year-old was a Year 9 pupil at Langley School, near Loddon.

In a statement, it described her as a "much-valued and cherished member of the school" and said pastoral support is being offered to fellow pupils.

In her statement, Mrs Saggers, who is managing director of Norwich recruitment firm Anglian Recruitment, added: "Thank you to everyone for the love, kindness, and support shown to our family during this incredibly difficult time."

Mrs Saggers also works as a manager for her husband Mr Saggers' development firm........
