Clampdown on yob drivers in Great Yarmouth
Under the new powers being proposed by Great Yarmouth Borough Council, anti-social drivers could be made to leave the scene of their irresponsible behaviour for 12 hours.
The council is also proposing to enlarge an existing Public Spaces Protection Order so that it covers the whole borough.
Some of the yobbish road behaviour the council wants to stifle includes speeding, performing stunts, blasting vehicle horns and revving of vehicles.
Great Yarmouth has been bedevilled by boy racers at night over the past months and locals have called for action to be taken against them.
