Homes with 'significant' benefits could be built in village as plans lodged
The development, put forward by Mr Peter Howell, would be located east of Pump Street in North Elmham.
Each home would be two storeys, with the scale and height similar to properties within the area.
The properties will also include two parking spaces, along with a private garden as well as vehicular and pedestrian access off the main road.
In a planning statement, it was said that the homes constitute "sustainable development" and that their influence will help to support nearby villages and facilities.
The statement added that future households would contribute to village life, community events and initiatives, benefiting the area.
The homes, which will be self-build properties, were also highlighted as giving rise to "significant social and economic benefits".
A decision on the outline application is due to be made by Breckland Council at a later date.
The plans can be viewed in full on the council's planning portal, using the reference PL/2026/0214/OMIN.
