A police cordon was put in place around the churchyard at St Nicholas Church after a fight involving three males.

Emergency services, including police, were called to the church around 4.15pm on Monday.

One man was taken to Norfolk and Norwich Hospital for treatment, before being transferred to Addenbrooke's Hospital.

A spokeswoman for Norfolk Constabulary said on Tuesday that he "remains in a critical condition".
