There had previously been three change of use applications to turn the mid-terrace property in Kirkley, south Lowestoft, into housing for asylum seekers.

But all of these were rejected last year following numerous objections.

It led to a fresh bid being made in April to turn the seven-bedroom property at 47 London Road South into a six-bedroom
