New care home could be built on garden centre site

A scheme that earmarks "high-quality, purpose-built care and nursing accommodation" on a site that has been left "derelict" for more than 20 years has been submitted.

Plans centring around a two-storey 66-bed residential care home at the former Ashley Nurseries site, on London Road in Kessingland, near Lowestoft has been lodged with East Suffolk Council.
