Maximum council tax increase agreed in annual district budget
The district share of East Suffolk householders council tax is to increase after East Suffolk Council agreed a balanced budget allowing for key services to be delivered.
As the authority's budget proposals for the upcoming financial year were discussed, Cllr Vincent Langdon-Morris, lead for resources and value for money, asked councillors to agree to a 2.99pc increase in council tax - the maximum possible amount without a referendum.
This is equivalent to a £5.58 yearly tax hike for average........
