A scheme of works to transform the Royal Plain, Royal Green and South Quay Wharf areas is continuing as part of the Lowestoft Seafront Vision project.

Work is now under way on installing new fountains at Royal Plain - with the new water play feature due to be in place for summer 2025.

It comes almost 20 years on from the unveiling of the original Royal Plain fountains in Lowestoft in June 2005.
