And a council has this week reassured locals that they are not set to fully clear the beach of its historic fishing boats.
It comes after concerns had been raised as notices were placed on equipment and vessels on Pakefield beach.

With Pakefield beach renowned for its rustic charm and dotted with boats from yesteryear, locals said the presence of the vessels provides "an iconic reminder" of the town's halcyon fishing days.
But with the shifting sands and coastal erosion in the area, East Suffolk Council's coastal management team had raised health and safety concerns around the vessels.
