The tool, which scans faces in real time against a pre-determined watchlist, is being used in Lowestoft town centre as part of a three-day deployment by Suffolk Constabulary.

It will be in force from Tuesday, August 25, with the force saying the technology is aimed at locating individuals wanted in connection with serious offences.
