Heating engineer faced exposure to asbestos throughout his working life, court told

Norfolk Coroner’s Court heard that John Lawrenson died at his home on Bluebell Road, Norwich, on September 24 last year.

The 90-year-old suffered from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and had smoked for 30 years.

Norfolk Coroner's Court also heard Mr Lawrenson had a long history of respiratory illness, having been diagnosed with asbestosis and pulmonary fibrosis in July 2017.
