Sentencing Steven Clark at Ipswich Crown Court, Judge Martyn Levett said he had targeted homes while the owners were out and had “ransacked” the premises.

He had stolen jewellery worth £17,000, which was never recovered, from a house in Airedale, Lowestoft, and stole jewellery and cash from a property in Borrow Road, Lowestoft.
