Karen Ryan was detained outside her flat in Paragon Place at around 4am on Thursday, as firefighters were still dealing with the aftermath of the blaze.

Ring doorbell footage from a nearby property shows her walking down the stairs of her flat, with firemen guiding her for safety.

Paramedics then checked her over before she was arrested by police.

She was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for further checks before being transferred to Wymondham Police Investigation Centre for questioning, where she remains.

Locals described being woken by the sound of a fire alarm and seeing smoke billowing from a window of her first floor flat.
