As part of the developer’s bid to get retrospective planning permission for the site at 79 Thorpe Road, Natural England is looking into the redevelopment.

It has put the firm behind the conversion Bewick Homes Ltd under pressure to prove the scheme has not added to pollution in the nearby river Yare.
