Rat run roadworks diversions cause chaos as traffic worsens
People in North Walsham are once again calling for greater safety measures as they say the situation is growing increasingly dangerous.
Locals have reported collisions, damage to property and pedestrians being clipped by vehicles, often finding it nearly impossible to walk down the streets.
The problems are in Aylsham Road, Skeyton New Road, Station Road, Millfield Road and Cherry Tree Lane
The ongoing issues began in January when a £750,000 project to improve the junction of Norwich and Yarmouth Roads on the town's bypass started.
People have said it has resulted in narrow pavement-less roads used as rat runs, with drivers regularly flouting 20 mph limits.

"We have huge volumes of traffic coming through down unacceptable roads, which is leading to collisions, damage to property and personal injuries."
"We just want to have a dialogue and be listened to."
