The bird was found in Sheringham, leading to a renewed call for action over discarded crabbing and fishing line on the Norfolk coast.  

Katie Utting spotted the injured bird near the Two Lifeboats pub while visiting the town for a short weekend break.

She said the pigeon appeared subdued and repeatedly had to sit down after taking only a few steps.
