About 65 people gathered on North Tuddenham Common, near Dereham, on September 10 to commemorate the eight US airmen from the 392nd Bomb Group who died when their aircraft crashed in April 1944.

Visitors from the 392nd Bomb Group Memorial Association arrived in military vehicles and laid a wreath at a memorial erected in 2010.
