Emme Hadfield, 16, has been banned from the Alderman Peel High School prom for taking 13 absences since March 17.

Despite this exceeding the school limit of five days, Emme’s family claim that every single absence was due to a mobility issue which has regularly left her unable to sleep or walk to the school bus.

While the issue has gone undiagnosed despite various doctor appointments, Emme claims the school were aware of the issue after she submitted doctors notes for PE exemption.
