The plans would have seen a five-bedroom home in Watton, which served as a nursery in the 1990s, converted into a day nursery for 40 children and eight staff.

It would have seen the detached property on Griston Road transformed into classrooms, playrooms, staff facilities and offices.

The applicants, Ark Day Nursery & Pre-School, said its current site in Watton is “outdated and no longer fit for purpose”.........
