The new multi-use educational hub has been put forward by West Suffolk College and Breckland Council in a bid to tackle the town’s lack of learning opportunities.

Parts of Thetford have been ranked in the top 20pc most deprived in terms of education skills and training in recent years, with many teenagers forced to make trips to Bury St Edmunds or Norwich for post-16 opportunities.
