More than 300 basset hounds invade Norfolk beach
But at the weekend more than 300 basset hounds took over the seafront as part of a popular annual walking event.
The Basset Hound Beach Invasion returned for its sixth iteration on August 30, with hundreds of dogs and owners walking from Wells beach across to Holkham.
A total of 306 basset bounds arrived in North Norfolk from across the UK, along with the event’s first-ever international visitor from Germany.
