A notably smaller crowd returned to the Bowthorpe venue on Sunday for the latest of the ongoing demonstrations against the housing of asylum seekers there.

While numbers had stretched into the hundreds during the summer, those attending the march now appeared to have fallen significantly, with around 40 taking part in the march and a few more joining at the hotel.

Those in attendance say that the declining numbers are not cause for concern, and that it reveals who the “true” supporters are.
